Isle of Harris – The Hearach Oloroso Cask Single Malt Whisky (75cl)

This is a single malt from the Isle of Harris, released as The Hearach and matured in Oloroso sherry casks. The Oloroso butts come from Jose y Miguel Martin, sherry cask makers in the province of Huelva in Andalusia, Spain. They build the casks, which are then seasoned by wineries in Jerez, and the distillery has bought its butts from them since 2015. The whisky matures fully in the Isle of Harris warehouse, where the sherry wood gives it a rich, bold character.
