Isle of Harris – The Hearach Single Malt Whisky (75cl)

Isle of Harris The Hearach is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 750ml bottle. It is slowly distilled in copper pot stills, using water from Abhainn Cnoc a' Charrain, which is said to be the softest in Scotland. The final marriage brings together ex-Bourbon and Sherry barrels, so both American and Spanish oak are felt in the finish. A maritime influence runs through it, with saline notes and the slightest touch of peat arriving late. Almonds and marzipan dominate the flavour, and the finish is long and lingering.
