Isle of Harris The Hearach is a single malt from the Isle of Harris Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. This batch pairs a lightly peated style with influences from ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso and Fino sherry casks. After maturation, the cask portions were married together for 18 weeks.
It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. On the nose, freshly cut grass and garden bonfire smoke sit alongside sweet fruit, butterscotch and spiced dried fruit. The palate is light, round and fruit-led with a fine salty note, and the finish stays long.
