Isle of Jura 18 Year Old is a single malt from the only distillery on the island of Jura, in the Inner Hebrides, just north of Islay. The distillery was founded in 1962 by local landowners Robin Fletcher and Tony Riley-Smith and is now owned by Whyte and Mackay. Unlike the generally peaty whiskies of its southern neighbour, its single malt is unpeated. Tasting notes run from cinnamon, dried berries, Wine Gums and hickory, through brandied cherries, Turkish delight, milky coffee and blackcurrant jam, to chocolate chip cookies, a touch of hay and orange oil.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
