Isle of Raasay – 2018-2023 Scottish Whisky Distillery of the Year 2022 (70cl, 50.7%)

This is a limited edition Island single malt from Isle of Raasay, distilled in 2018 and bottled by the distillery in 2023. It marks Raasay being named Scottish Whisky Distillery of the Year at the 2022 Scottish Whisky Awards, and is the oldest release from the distillery so far. The unpeated spirit was matured first in ex-bourbon casks from Four Roses, then finished in virgin casks made from Quercus Humboldtii, an Andean oak from Colombia. It is bottled at 50.7% in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration.
