This is a 40 year old blended Canadian whisky from J.P. Wiser's, distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2022. It belongs to the Ex Libris series and carries the name The Apprenticeship. The blend is built mainly from corn whisky of at least 40 years, matured in casks that previously held Speyside single malt. A small share of rye whisky, aged in casks that previously held peated Scottish single malt, completes it. It was bottled at 61.9% ABV, without colouring or chill-filtration, and only 240 bottles were filled.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
