Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye (70cl, 50%)

Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye is a Tennessee rye whiskey made at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg. As a Bottled in Bond whiskey, it comes from a single distilling season at one distillery, is matured for at least four years under government supervision and is bottled at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. A rye-rich grain recipe gives the spicy base. The new spirit is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal before it goes into new, charred American oak casks. Ripe apple, juicy peach and cherry show on the nose, with vanilla, cinnamon and a touch of ginger. The palate brings mango, soft caramel and lively cinnamon spice. The finish carries caramel, spicy rye, cinnamon and dry oak.
