Jack Daniel's Bottled in Bond is a Tennessee whiskey in a 1 litre bottle. The Bottled in Bond designation requires whiskey to be aged for at least four years, distilled in a single season at one distillery and bottled at 100 proof. The whiskey is charcoal mellowed through 10 feet of sugar maple and aged in handcrafted American white oak barrels. It recalls the 1890s, when Jack Daniel began using his square bottle in 1895 and the Bottled in Bond Act was passed in 1897. It is described as rich and bold.
