Jack Daniel's Legacy Edition Series First Edition is a Tennessee whiskey from Lynchburg, released in summer 2018 as the first bottling in the Legacy Edition Series. It is a limited edition of Old No. 7, bottled at 43% ABV rather than the 40% of the standard black label.
The label recreates the green and gold design the distillery used before 1904, with a red field behind the Old No. 7 emblem. It carries no gold medal mark, because the medal won at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair appeared on labels only from then on.
The whiskey inside is described as caramel, vanilla and wood.
