Jack Daniel's – Single Barrel Rye Green Label (70cl, 45%)

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye is a Tennessee whiskey in a 70cl bottle, made from a mash of 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. Each barrel is hand-selected and bottled on its own, so small differences from one bottle to the next are to be expected. Before ageing, the spirit is mellowed through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal. The nose offers toasted oak, caramel and baking spices. On the palate come vanilla, ripe fruit, honey, cinnamon, clove and cracked black pepper, with brown sugar and toasted oak balancing the spice from the rye. The finish is long and warm.
