This is Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Strength, a Tennessee whiskey in a 70cl bottle at 62.5% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
It matures in charred oak barrels, which give the whiskey its depth alongside caramel, vanilla and ripe fruit sweetness, with cinnamon and cloves for spice. A creamy texture is often mentioned.
The nose is rich with caramel, sweet vanilla, apples and pears, and a light wood smoke. The finish is long and warm, with sweet and spicy notes fading into a gentle woody close.
