This is Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition, an Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. In 2013 Jameson replaced the stout beer barrels used for Caskmates with IPA beer barrels from a local craft brewery.
The nose is floral, with herbal hops, grapefruit and subtle orchard fruits. On the palate come hops and light citrus, with sweet herbal notes and delicate spice. The finish brings lingering fresh fruit and hops, giving way to barley grains and a smooth close.
