Jameson Irish Whiskey (37.5cl, 40%)

Jameson Irish Whiskey is a triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey, bottled at 40% in a 375ml half bottle. It is made at the New Midleton Distillery in County Cork. The blend combines pot still whiskey, made from malted and unmalted barley, with column-distilled grain whiskey. The barley is dried in kilns fired by natural gas rather than peat, and the whiskey matures for at least four years in seasoned oak casks. The nose is caramel and vanilla with a hint of mint and orange peel. The palate is toffee, butterscotch and clover honey. The finish is medium, with choc-chip cookie sweetness and a trace of warm spice.
