Jameson Distiller's Batch is a single pot still Irish whiskey, triple distilled at New Midleton Distillery in County Cork and bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was previously sold as Jameson Single Pot Still.
It contains no grain whiskey. The pot still spirit is matured in five types of oak cask: ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, virgin Irish oak, European oak and American oak.
The nose combines toasted oak, cinnamon and nutmeg with honeycomb, salted caramel and fudge. On the palate there is dark chocolate, spicy toffee, ginger and orange peel. The finish is medium to long, with smoked-wood tones and gentle tannins.
