Jameson Single Pot Still Five Oak Cask Release is an Irish single pot still whiskey, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled, and matured in five cask types: first-fill ex-bourbon, refill ex-bourbon, virgin American oak, virgin European oak and ex-sherry butts.
The nose offers warm spices, honey, toasted oak, ripe stone fruit and a hint of sherry sweetness. The palate is creamy and round, with toffee, vanilla, hazelnut, black pepper, soft tannins, red fruit and subtle spices. The finish is long and warming, balancing sweet and spicy notes with oak and light sherry fruit.
