Jameson Triple Triple Series II is an Irish whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled and matured in three types of cask: bourbon, sherry and chestnut wood, the last used in place of Malaga casks.
The chestnut casks add further layers of flavour and extra softness to the bourbon and sherry-aged whiskey. Caramel, cocoa and roasted almond are the notes most often described, giving it a velvety character.
