Jim Beam Black is a Kentucky straight bourbon with a seven-year age statement, in a 37.5cl bottle. It is bottled at 90 proof.
The bourbon matured in charred white oak barrels, and the extra time in wood gives a fuller, deeper character built on caramel, warm oak and vanilla.
The nose combines warm oak, deep caramel, cinnamon and vanilla bean. The palate is full-bodied, with toasted oak, brown sugar, vanilla cream and gentle baking spices. The finish is long and warming, with lingering caramel and a touch of char.
