A Kentucky straight bourbon from Jim Beam, made at the distillery in Clermont, Kentucky, and bottled with a 7 year age statement in a 70cl-class 750ml bottle.
It uses Jim Beam's high-corn mashbill and spends seven years in charred new American oak barrels. The result is deep amber in colour, with a full-bodied, smooth mouthfeel.
The nose offers warm vanilla, sweet caramel and toasted oak, with a little cinnamon and dark fruit. On the palate come brown sugar, butterscotch, vanilla bean and light baking spice. The finish is long and warm, with sweet oak, caramel and gentle spice.
