This is Jim Beam White Label, a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 37.5cl bottle. The recipe has been in the family for more than seven generations, and the bourbon is aged for four years in newly charred American white oak barrels.
It has a bright, rich amber colour and a medium body. Expect sweet oak, vanilla and caramel on the nose, then oaky vanilla, toasted caramel, sweet corn and baking spices on the palate. The finish is warm and medium in length, with lingering oak and sweet corn.
