Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle. It is a blend of more than 40 whiskies, each matured for at least twelve years in oak casks.
The nose is fruity, with dark berries and citrus zest, a wisp of peat smoke, and vanilla, toasted malt and a hint of dried herbs. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with toffee and butterscotch, ripe orchard fruits, cinnamon and nutmeg, and a gentle smokiness over a creamy texture. The finish is long, with sweet fruit, elegant smoke, a little oak and a final touch of spice.
