Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a one-litre bottle. It carries no age statement. The blend combines a small selection of malt and grain whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside, Islay and the Lowlands. On the nose it is typically described as dark chocolate, stewed fruits and candied citrus peel, with a little peat smoke. The palate is full-bodied and creamy, with vanilla, honey and baking spices, a touch of oak and a gentle maritime note. The finish is long, with dark chocolate, toasted almonds and a trace of smoke.
