Johnnie Walker Double Black (40%)

A blended Scotch whisky from Johnnie Walker, bottled at 40% ABV. Master blender Jim Beveridge created Double Black to make Johnnie Walker Black Label darker and milder. It was first released in 2009. The blend matures in heavily charred casks. It is inspired by the robust whiskies of Scotland's west coast and the neighbouring islands, and whiskies from those areas give the familiar Johnnie Walker flavour greater intensity.
