Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve is a multi-layered blended Scotch whisky, put together by Master Blender Jim Beveridge in a lineage that stretches back 190 years to John Walker himself. Among the whiskies he chose is Clynelish, whose distillery draws its water from the Kildonan Hills, where gold was found in 1868. It is typically described as a smooth balance of sweet fruit and creaminess that moves into deeper honeyed tones, finishing in long waves of wood, fruit and light, sweet west coast smoke.
