Johnny Drum Private Stock Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 50.5%)

Johnny Drum Private Stock is a Kentucky straight bourbon and the top bottling in the Johnny Drum range, made in small batches at Willett Distillery. It is a sour mash bourbon at cask strength, 101 proof (50.5%), in a 75cl bottle. On the nose there is a touch of shellac, then toffee apple, mixed nuts, clove and vanilla. The palate is creamy and mildly prickly, with dried fruit, caramel, sweet spice and sandalwood. It finishes soft and dry, with vanilla oak, creme caramel and a hint of liquorice.
