Jura 12 Years is a single malt from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It replaces the earlier Jura Elixir.
The whisky is matured in bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is typically described as dark chocolate, honey, walnuts and light citrus. The palate is firm but approachable, with coffee, salted banana, liquorice and brown sugar, leading to a medium-length, bitter-sweet finish.
