Jura 16 Diurachs' Own is a single malt from the Jura distillery, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit spent a minimum of 14 years in American oak casks, followed by two more years finishing in ex-Amoroso Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is sweet, with caramel, buttery tones, honey and a touch of orange spice. The palate moves from vanilla custard and maple syrup to spiced oak with a little clove. The finish is long, with sweet toffee and honey.
