Jura 18 Years Red Wine Finish Edition is an Island single malt, bottled at 44% in a 70cl bottle. It spent 18 years maturing in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak before a finish in red wine casks from a Bordeaux Premier Cru.
The Bordeaux casks are credited with the distinct woodland berry character.
The nose brings toffee and cinnamon. On the palate come stewed cherries, Turkish delight, milky coffee and redcurrant jam. The finish is dark chocolate and coffee.
