A 21-year-old single malt from Jura, bottled at 44% ABV to mark the distillery's 200th anniversary. It was matured in ex-sherry casks from the Gonzalez Byass bodegas, and the edition is limited to 1200 bottles.
The colour is golden amber. The nose opens sweet and malty, with raisins, prunes, candied orange peel and caramel, then vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and a nutty note most like walnuts. The palate is silky and rich, starting with caramel and moving towards burnt sugar, while malted grain, dried fruit and candied orange peel run through it.
