This is a 28 year old Jura single malt from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle as a travel retail release.
The whisky first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then was finished in aged Amoroso sherry butts. It has a deep amber-gold colour.
The nose offers lemon, caramel, pear and vanilla. On the palate come almond, pineapple, coffee and fruit cake, with tropical fruit and almond cake also noted.
