Jura American Bourbon Cask Edition is a single malt from the Isle of Jura, matured entirely in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon. It is bottled at 40% and is a bright gold in colour.
The ex-bourbon wood brings out the fresh, fruity character of the distillery.
The nose is fresh, with vanilla, honey and soft caramel, plus coconut, citrus and tropical fruit. The palate is light, with creamy vanilla, toffee, ripe pear, pineapple, almond and sweet oak. The finish is soft and clean, with lingering vanilla, honey and light spice.
