Jura – Bourbon Cask Single Malt (70cl, 40%)

Jura Bourbon Cask is a single malt from the island of Jura, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It takes the place of Jura Journey, the entry expression introduced when the distillery relaunched its range in 2018. The spirit is mostly unpeated new make with a share of peated spirit, and it matures only in casks that previously held bourbon. The nose is sweet vanilla and fresh coconut. The palate is soft and mild, with creamy toffee, apricots, honey and poached pears. The finish is short to medium in length, leaving gentle cinnamon and a little cocoa.
