Jura – Red Wine Cask Finish

Jura Red Wine Cask Finish is a single malt from the distillery on the island of Jura. It begins its maturation in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then receives a finish in French red wine casks, which add fruit and colour. The nose is red fruit, with strawberry, raspberry and cherry, over vanilla, caramel and gentle spice, with a little sea salt and dark chocolate. On the palate it is soft and round, medium in body, with red berries, brambles, honey, toffee, cinnamon, pepper and cocoa. The finish is medium and fruity, with red fruit, chocolate and soft spice.
