Jura Red Wine Cask is a single malt from the Isle of Jura, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Jura Cask Editions, which pair the island malt with finishes from regional wines.
The whisky was first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in hand-selected European red wine casks.
The nose offers sultanas, creamy caramel, black forest fruits and a hint of heather honey. On the palate come raspberries, strawberries, creamy vanilla and cinnamon spice.
