Jura Red Wine Cask is a single malt from the Isle of Jura, off the west coast of Scotland, in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Cask Edition, which pairs the island's whisky with the regional character of selected red wine casks.
The distillery stands on an island with one small shop, one pub and a close community. Local legend held that peat cutting should never begin before May, a custom still kept on Jura today.
The result is described as a richly fruity, full-bodied single malt.
