Jura – Rum Cask Finish

Jura Rum Cask Finish is a single malt from the island of Jura. It is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then given an extra period in Caribbean rum casks. The nose brings pineapple, mango and banana with vanilla and honey, then coconut, light caramel, sea salt and a hint of light smoke. The palate is medium-bodied, creamy and fruity, with mango, passion fruit and banana, vanilla and coconut from the bourbon wood, and brown sugar, honey and a little cinnamon from the rum finish. The finish is medium in length, soft and fruity, with tropical fruit, vanilla and light spice.
