Jura – The Road (1L, 43.6%)

Jura The Road is a single malt from the island distillery of Jura, in a one-litre bottle at 43.6% ABV. It is named after the single road that runs along the island's coast to the distillery in the south-east. The whisky is matured first in ex-bourbon American white oak casks, then finished in hand-selected casks that previously held 20-year-old Pedro Ximénez sherry. It is gold in colour. The nose brings apricots, molasses, bergamot and toasted pistachio. The palate is rich with ground coffee, molasses and cinnamon, and the finish returns to ground coffee, cinnamon and molasses.
