Kamiki Sakura Wood Japanese Blended Malt

Kamiki Sakura Wood is a Japanese blended malt, made by combining Japanese malt whiskies with selected malts from other parts of the world. After blending, the whisky is matured in casks of Yoshino cedar, often called Japanese cedar, and in Japanese cherry wood casks. Kamiki comes from Nara, the old capital of Japan, and takes its name from the words for god and breath, inspired by the breezes of Mount Miwa. The monks of the Omiva temple bless each batch. The nose offers melon and banana with woody cinnamon, while the palate brings cherries, roasted nuts, sandalwood and cedar. The finish balances wood, rich fruit and lingering spice.
