Kanosuke x Saburomaru Collaboration Series 01 Double Distillery Blended Malt (70cl, 50%)

Kanosuke x Saburomaru Collaboration Series 01 is a Japanese blended malt, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first edition of a collaboration between Kanosuke Distillery in Kagoshima and Saburomaru Distillery in Toyama, made by exchanging unblended malt whiskies between the two. Kanosuke's fruit-forward malt forms the base, layered with Saburomaru's deeply peated malt for a gentle peat smoke. The nose has sea breeze, grapefruit, honey, green apple, lychee and soft oak bonfire smoke. On the palate come wild honey, nutmeg, kumquat, vanilla cream, passion fruit and subtle iodine. The finish is long, with citrus zest, tropical fruit, sea salt and gentle peat smoke.
