A single cask Japanese single malt from Karuizawa, distilled in 1972 and bottled by the distillery in 2012 after 40 years in a sherry butt. It belongs to the Golden Dragon series.
The whisky was bottled at its natural cask strength of 55.9%, and the cask, number 8833, gave 267 bottles in 70cl size. Karuizawa sits at the foot of Mount Asama and closed in 2000.
