This Karuizawa is a single sherry butt whisky from the 1983 vintage. It was bottled on 7 November 2011 by Number One Drinks Company at a natural cask strength of 58.9%, in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was distilled before the Japanese distillery was mothballed in 2000. The plant was demolished shortly afterwards, and cask #3462 comes from that final era of production.
