This is a 31-year-old single cask Karuizawa, distilled in 1977 and bottled in 2009 at 62.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in sherry cask number 6994. It was selected and bottled for The Nectar in Belgium as part of its Daily Dram series. The title, Wait La Mazurka, refers to the retort Frederic Chopin is said to have given the Japanese artist Hokusai when he tried to pour him a Japanese whisky while Chopin was busy at the piano.
