This is a single cask Karuizawa distilled in 1981 and matured for 30 years in a sherry butt, number 7924. It was bottled in 2011 at a cask strength of 56.6% in a 70cl bottle, by Number One Drinks for La Maison du Whisky.
Only 216 bottles were released, intended for the French market. Each is sealed with a cork stopper coated in black wax and carries the signature of Y. Nakazato.
