A single malt from Karuizawa, distilled in 1981 and bottled in 2013 after 31 years in a sherry butt. It was bottled at 56% in a 70cl bottle, and 595 bottles were produced. The label shows Asakura-jo, a Noh character who portrays an elderly common man. The Noh single cask series began in 2008 and drew on barrels that did not quite fit the official Vintage series.
