This is a 32 year old single cask Karuizawa, bottled to mark the 10th anniversary of Shinanoya Private Bottling. Only 118 bottles were filled.
The whisky was distilled in 1981 and matured in a sherry cask, number 4380, before bottling in 2013 at 55.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Karuizawa sits at the foot of Mount Asama and ceased production in 2000.
