This is a 12 year old single cask Karuizawa from the Vintage for Kawachiya series, released under the Karuizawa name rather than by an independent bottler.
The whisky was distilled on 9 September 1989 and matured in a sherry cask, number 7410, until it was bottled on 20 December 2002 at 61.3% ABV. It was released in a 70cl bottle, from an outturn of 440 bottles. Karuizawa stopped producing whisky in 2000.
