This is a 22 year old Karuizawa single malt from Japan, distilled on 4 September 1991 and bottled in 2013 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 132.2. It matured in a single refill ex-sherry butt and was bottled at 62.4% ABV, with an outturn of 335 bottles.
The Society gave the release the title Stunning Panorama of Exotic Fruits. Karuizawa is a closed distillery in Nagano Prefecture, where production ceased in 2000.
