This is a limited edition bottle of Karuizawa single malt, filled by Mercian, the former owners of the Karuizawa distillery. At 36cl and 37%, it is made in the form of a figurine showing shirt number 6, Tomoaki Kanemoto.
It marks the Hanshin Tigers winning Japan's Central League in 2003. The Tigers played their first season in 1936 and are among the oldest professional baseball teams in Japan.
Karuizawa was established in 1955 in Miyota, on the southern slopes of Mount Asama, and closed in 2001.
