Karuizawa – Noh Whisky Multi-Vintages #1 (70cl, 59.1%)

This is Karuizawa Noh Whisky Multi-Vintages #1, a blend of whisky distilled between 1981 and 1984 and bottled in 2011 at 59.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in sherry butts and bourbon casks, and 1,500 bottles were produced. The Noh series takes its theme from the masks used in Noh, one of Japan's traditional performing arts. The label of this bottle shows Matsukaze, a female ghost who is the central character in a Noh play of the same name.
