Kavalan – Distillery Select No. 2 (70cl, 40%)

Kavalan Distillery Select No. 2 is a Taiwanese single malt whisky in a 700ml bottle, bottled at 40% abv. Kavalan takes its name from the indigenous people known as the flatland people, who first lived in the area. The distillery sits on land with cold spring water and salty ocean air, and the subtropical heat speeds up maturation. Construction began in 2005 and took nine months, with Master Blender Ian Chang and whisky consultant Dr Jim Swan working together to oversee the distillery's vision.
