Kavalan Port Cask Finish is a Taiwanese single malt bottled at 43% (86 proof). It was matured in Portuguese Port barriques, which give it its colour and part of its flavour.
Red grapes and clove on the nose are followed by vanilla and tobacco leaf. Brown sugar mingles with ground cinnamon and white pepper on the palate, and a core of oak warmth carries the port notes.
